'Since returning to Ongata Rongai from a wonderful tour of England we have taken 125 orphans into Magnet School. These children were being looked after by extended families who can no longer afford to feed them. The rains failed earlier n the year and seeds could not be planted, then when they could be planted there was widespread flooding. Prices of foodstuffs has risen already. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters we could have managed, but with the extra pupils we are very stretched. We estimate that by Christmas we will find it very difficult to provide for our school community. Jeremiah Kibobi'
